Hi. My name is Michelle, but I go by Michie. I’m the professional partner you hire when strategy and words have to carry the weight of an outcome that matters.
In my 30-year career, I’ve lived and worked on multiple continents, held senior leadership roles in communications agencies, headed national communications departments, and founded my own international publishing company. I’ve led teams that changed contentious national opinions. I’ve won legal arguments. I’ve created publications that attracted participation from heads of state, Nobel laureates, and the world’s most powerful global financial leaders.
For every project, my process begins with the desired end result and builds strategically to transform complex, technical, or emotionally layered raw material into something so clear and compelling that the intended audience can’t help but agree. When the stakes are high, intentionally crafted clarity is power.
From high-stakes legal filings to deeply personal memoirs, my projects require mastering new domains quickly and delivering final products able to hold their own in their intended setting.
Lead writer of an expert witness’s valuation report for a nine-figure international arbitration case heard at The Hague.
Wrote sections of an expert witness’s rebuttal response and provided strategic feedback on associated expert reports for a high nine-figure energy sector arbitration case.
Built successful EB-2 National Interest Waiver petitions for international experts in finance and science by creating custom legal arguments under the Dhanasar framework.
Created a museum-quality, 250-page tabloid-sized family history chronicle balancing deep ancestry with 54 documented personal legacies to preserve a single family’s story across time, geography, and historical upheaval.
Ghostwrote (and produced) a 63,000-word memoir now held in permanent collections at libraries and historical associations in multiple states.
If all you have is an idea—or even just a goal—you’re not alone. Many of my clients come to me with little more than a sense of what they want to achieve. I get up to speed on the subject matter quickly and then start providing the structure on how we are going to make it happen. In my decades-long career, I have yet to encounter a project I didn’t find inherently fascinating. Every project I work on matters deeply to me.
My process:
For all of my projects, the outcome I aim for is clarity so intuitive that target audiences walk away thinking, “Oh yes, of course. That is exactly how it is.”
Starting September 2025, I will be accepting a limited number of select projects in the following areas:
Let me know when you are ready to discuss your project. I don’t accept everything, so you will need to answer a few questions. They aren’t much, but they help both of us know if we are a potential good match. I live on the East Coast of the United States and work with clients around the world.
